It destroys lives and ruins businesses – the so-called cancel culture, or “cancel culture,” is something many brands and public figures fear.
According to Aidas Petrošius, an expert at the media research company Mediaskopas, the very amount of attention devoted to cancel culture shows that it is a negative phenomenon with often tragic consequences. However, says the interviewee, canceling is a flawed practice.
